Watanabe Yoshimasa

Yoshimasa Watanabe is a manga artist active in the dōjin circle "Mental Specialist," but his career has an unusual trajectory. He once worked simultaneously in dōjin and commercial publications, releasing adult-oriented manga from the late 1980s to the late 1990s. However, after facing an unusually high return rate for one of hisTankobon, he issued a retirement declaration to the industry, stating that he "felt the limits as a commercial artist." Since then, he has completely withdrawn from commercial magazines and dedicated himself solely to creating dōjin works.
